Maths graduate. IB alumnus. Former national team athlete. The person who will help your student finally understand maths — not just survive it.

Alex Ćetojević — BSc Mathematics graduation, University of Trieste
43/45
IB Score

The IB from
the inside out.

I'm a maths graduate and former IB student who graduated with a 43/45 — including a 7 in Mathematics AA HL, a 7 in Physics HL, and an A in my Mathematics Extended Essay.

Over the past years I've supported students across international schools throughout Europe — in IB Maths AA/AI, SAT Math, Bocconi test prep, and first-year university mathematics. My approach is calm, structured and clarity-driven. I help students understand the ideas behind the methods so they feel confident in class, during assessments, and in the exam room.

  • BSc in Mathematics with a very high GPA (29.3/30) from the University of Trieste.
  • 600+ hours tutoring IB, SAT, and university-level maths and physics across international schools in Europe.
  • Strong track record moving students from low confidence and poor grades to consistent, stable performance.
  • Former youth national team beach volleyball athlete — bringing discipline, focus and a growth mindset to every session.
  • All lessons delivered online via Zoom or Google Meet — accessible to students anywhere in the world.

Six reasons students
make real progress.

I

Taught by Someone Who's Been There

I graduated the IB with 43/45 — including a 7 in Maths AA HL, a 7 in Physics HL, and an A in my Maths Extended Essay. I know exactly what these exams demand and how to prepare for them strategically.

II

Understanding, Not Memorisation

Every lesson is built around understanding the ideas behind the methods. Students who grasp the reasoning can tackle unfamiliar problems — which is exactly what IB and SAT exams are designed to test.

III

Structured from Day One

From the first session, there is a clear plan — topic priorities, a realistic timeline, and defined goals. Students always know where they are, what comes next, and what to focus on.

IV

Calm, Patient, Honest

Lessons are unhurried and pressure-free. We slow down when something isn't clear, move faster when it is, and always work at a pace that builds genuine confidence rather than surface-level reassurance.

V

Parents Are Kept in the Loop

For families who want it, I provide regular progress updates — what's been covered, where the student stands, and what the focus will be going forward. No ambiguity, no surprises.

VI

Consistent and Reliable

As a former youth national team athlete, I understand what it takes to improve under pressure. Every session is prepared, every commitment honoured — students and parents know exactly what to expect.

BSc Mathematics.

Graduated with honours in Mathematics from the University of Trieste — the same university where I developed the analytical rigour and problem-solving depth that now shapes every lesson I give.
