How I teach

Understanding before method
Students who grasp why a method works can handle an unfamiliar problem. Students who memorised the steps cannot — and unfamiliar problems are exactly what these exams are built from.
A plan from day one
Topic priorities, a realistic timeline and defined goals from the first session, so a student always knows where they stand and what comes next.
The cycle between lessons
Every lesson is followed by a custom worksheet, which I mark before the next session. Misconceptions get corrected while they are still small.
Calm and honest
Lessons are unhurried. We slow down where something is unclear, and I say so plainly when an approach is not working rather than continuing it.

Practical

Languages
English, Italian and Croatian, all to a fluent standard. A lesson can run entirely in any of the three.
Format
Online via Zoom or Google Meet with a shared whiteboard. 60 minutes as standard, 90 during revision periods.
Where students are
International schools across Europe. Because lessons are online, location is not a constraint.
