Do you follow the current IB syllabus?

Yes. I stay up to date with the current IB Mathematics syllabus for both Analysis & Approaches (AA) and Applications & Interpretation (AI), at both SL and HL. Lessons are always aligned with what the student is currently studying in school.
Can you help with the IB Internal Assessment?

Yes. I can support students with their Mathematics or Physics IA — from initial topic selection and framing a strong research question, through to checking the mathematical content and ensuring the exploration meets the IB criteria. IA support is typically done as part of regular sessions or as dedicated standalone sessions.
How do you track student progress?

I constantly check in on each student's understanding throughout every session, so I always have a clear picture of where they are and what needs attention. I'm also fully available for briefings — parents are welcome to reach out at any time to get a direct update on how their child is progressing.
Can lessons be conducted in Croatian or Italian?

Absolutely. I'm fluent in English, Croatian and Italian. For students who are more comfortable working through problems in their first language, we can conduct the entire lesson in Croatian or Italian — whichever helps them learn best.
What if my child isn't improving?

If a student isn't progressing as expected, I take that seriously and adjust the approach — whether that means slowing down on a topic, changing how we explain something, or refocusing the plan entirely. I'd rather have an honest conversation about what's working than continue with something that isn't. Parents are always kept informed.
What kind of results do students typically see?

On average, students who work consistently with me improve by around 2 IB grade points over the course of a year. SAT students have seen score increases of 80–150 points on the Math section. Results depend on the student's starting point, how consistently they engage between sessions, and how much time they have before their exams — which is why I'm honest about expectations from the very first call.
How much does tutoring cost?

Fees depend on the subject, the session length, and whether lessons are one-to-one or in a small group with friends — group sessions work out more affordable per student. Rather than quote a single number that wouldn't fit every situation, I go through it plainly on the free intro call, once I understand what your child actually needs. There's no obligation, and no charge for that call.
Do you tutor students in Milan or elsewhere in Italy?

Yes. All lessons are online, so location is not a constraint — I work with students at international schools across Europe, including in Italy. Sessions run on Zoom or Google Meet with a shared whiteboard and can be taught entirely in Italian if that is the language your child thinks in. There are no in-person lessons.
Which languages do you tutor in?

English, Italian and Croatian, all to a fluent standard. A lesson can run entirely in any of the three, and in practice students often mix — following the explanation in Italian while keeping the mathematical terminology in English, because that is the language their exam is written in. Whatever helps the concept land is the right choice.
How is this different from Preply or Superprof?

Those are marketplaces: you book an hour from whoever is available, and continuity is yours to manage. This is one tutor rather than a roster. Every student gets a custom worksheet after each lesson which I mark before the next one, so progress carries between sessions instead of restarting each time. I also turn down students I am not the right fit for, which a marketplace has no reason to do.
